Position Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming visitors in a courteous manner, identifying the purpose of their visit, and directing them to the appropriate team
  • Providing support to Safety, HR, Operations and other departments as needed. Including but not limited to:
    • Safety Committee meeting minutes
    • Assisting the HR team with Federal I-9s
    • Fed-Ex and UPS shipping
  • Organizing and scheduling company meetings, including scheduling travel, sending reminders, organizing catering, and other action items as needed.
  • Assisting with and planning special projects and company events, such as company picnics, office parties, employee appreciation events, etc.
  • Responsible for inventory and ordering of office supplies, coffee, snacks, and equipment.
  • Running high-level office errands, for example: picking up materials from print shops, food or beverages for meetings, etc.
  • Ensuring kitchen and common areas are neat, organized, and well stocked at all times.
  • Providing excellent professionalism and a can-do attitude to visitors and team members at all times.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities
  • A high degree of initiative, dynamism, decision-making, and teamwork abilities
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Experience working with customers directly
  • Proficiency with computers and relevant software programs, such as Microsoft Office

Required Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience working in an office environment as an Assistant or similar role
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a similar degree is preferred
